Abstract: To accelerate conversion of technological results and solve the problem that some results of key technology and equipment were delayed for application in recent years, China National Petroleum Corporation increased investment in accelerating application of new technological results on the basis of its key technological development projects. CNPC has tried to promote application of systematic logging technology and equipment on a large scale for the first time and established special organization for multilateral cooperation and promotion of the application projects. With the efforts to strengthen technological support, CNPC has improved the adaptability and service level of technology and equipment. A total of 165 sets of EILog rapid and imaging logging system and equipment have been cumulatively put into production since 2010 when the project was kick off, accounting for one third of CNPC’s domestic open-hole logging technology and equipment. With the cost for imports lowered significantly, CNPC has achieved good results for application and developed a complete operational pattern for wide application. This paper comes up with the suggestions on conversion of mature results, management of production and improvement and encouragement of technological results.
