During the process of overall readjustment on offshore oilfields, wellbore anti-collision has become the key factor that restricts the infill drilling of cluster well group. For the difficulties of offshore oilfields, using well path optimization and the anti-collision and barrier-bypassing design, the path control technology of overall infill drilling is implemented. Through the application to L Platform in SZ36-1 Oilfield, it is shown that the technology could effectively prevent the accident of wellbore collision and make drilling easier.

    2010, 29(5): 21-24.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.05.006
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1451KB) ( )
Formation porosity and reservoir pressure depletion are the outstanding problems encountered in the adjustment process of Bohai Oilfield development. In view of the technical difficulties of sand control and reservoir protection during the process of completion, this paper adopts appropriate sand control design based on the theory of reasonable sand control, innovates and develops the PRD simplified perforation fluid technology and the supporting completion techniques. Through the application in SZ36-1 Oilfield, it is shown that the technology effectively solves the conflict between gravel pack and leak prevention, reaches a "reasonable sand control + reservoir protection" double-effect, increases well production substantially in single well, and provides an important basis for completion technology of similar oilfields.

Zhao Shao-wei, Yang Jin, Fan Bai-tao, Yang Hao
    2010, 29(5): 25-27.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.05.007
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1432KB) ( )
To study the effect of moisture content on cold heavy oil production (CHOP) near wellbore zone, in the lab, the law of oil and water production under constant pressure is simulated when the moisture content is different. By injecting heavy oil and formation water into artificial core simultaneously under constant pressure, the percolation mechanism and liquid production law are studied. Experimental results show that the moisture content near wellbore zone has no effect on ultimate recovery, providing important theoretical basis for the design of oilfield development plans.

    2010, 29(5): 34-36.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.05.010
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1389KB) ( )
Basal glutenite and burial hill of the Member 2 of Dongying Formation of Paleogene was drilled in the horizontal section of Well CFD18-1-A2h, where fractures developed, the formation temperature is high, reservoir protection and conventional drilling operations are difficult. Since the oil-in-water drilling fluid has such advantages of low density, small fluctuations in bottomhole negative pressure value, strong stability, good lubricating effect, and less pollution to reservoir, so the horizontal section of Well CFD18-1-A2h is drilled using oil-in-water drilling fluid combined with managed pressure drilling technology. During drilling and completion, oil-in-water drilling fluid is steady, ROP is high, trip-in is normal, and screen is inserted to target depth. Flowing production of is 200% of ODP and reservoir is protected well.

    2010, 29(5): 37-41.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.05.011
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1346KB) ( )
At present, the formation pressure coefficient of SZ36-1 Oilfield is between 0.7~1.10 from the original normal 1.0 after years of water injection development, and the reservoir heterogeneity, contradiction between layers, high pressure and low pressure formation coexist. SZ36-1 Oilfield has become a complex pressure reservoir system, drilling and completion operations get more difficult. During adjustment development of the Oilfield, only 1.03~1.10 g/cm3 density completion fluids could be used, so completion fluid is leaked seriously and it needs a long time to flow back. In this respect, the clay free weak gel completion fluid system is proposed and applied, i.e. using it as the perforation fluid. The system will form the sealing zone in the perforation holes to improve the low pressure formation bearing pressure capacity, and prevent completion fluid from loss. After completion, broken-gel fluid is injected into to break the gel in the perforation holes, and the fluid flows back to the surface. Field application results show that the system could significantly reduce the completion fluid leakage rate higher than 90% in the complex pressure reservoir and shorten the flowback time, the formation protection effect is remarkable.

BZ13-1 production platform is a transferring hinge of southern Bohai Oilfield, which barges up against insufficiency of cantilever drilling rig during exploitation seedtime, and it couldn't meet the overall needs of the development of Bohai Oilfield. To alleviate resource conflicts, CNOOC drill completion workers, in accordance with the existing conditions, put forward and adopt the "non-cantilever rig + underwater base plate" mode of operation creatively, which not only ensures a smooth production schedule at the Oilfield, but obtains direct economic benefits as high as 140 million yuan. At the same time, it could yield indirect economic benefits of 927 million yuan annually and good social benefits. The success of this new operation mode provides a strong reference for the subsequent application of this technology.

    2010, 29(5): 48-50.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.05.014
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1386KB) ( )
Bohai Sea Area is abundant in oil and gas resources. During ten years of exploration, not only a series of large and medium-sized oil and gas fields with relatively small geological structure have been discovered, but some so-called "marginal oilfields" with small-scale and low-grade reserves that are difficult to product economically and efficiently are detected. After constant exploration and practice, some mature development modes for effective development of similar oilfields have been developed. However, these development modes are not applicable for the isolated marginal oil and gas fields near 5m contour in shallow sea area. This paper discusses the problem of which mode could be used for the development of similar oilfields, and brings forward that the artificial island development mode could minimize the time for project construction and drilling & completion and meet the requirements of economic development.

Most of reservoir in south of Bohai area is complicated fault-block reservoir, how to develop them with high efficiency is a problem needed to be solved quickly. In this paper, development model of drilling & completion engineering based on reservoir study is put forward for the first time. The appropriate drilling & completion plan and technology are researched by the fully study of reservoir to enhance the production of single well. This development model has good experiment effect in two wells of BZ28-2S Oilfield. The preparatory and drilling & completion efficiency has been enhanced effectively, and the production of these two testing wells is more than two times of proration production after put into production. This provides a valuable development model for development of similar reservoir in the future.

    2010, 29(5): 57-59.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.05.017
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1576KB) ( )
Oil production will be up to 30 million tons in 2010 in Bohai Oilfield, so many oil and gas fields would be put into production before the year of 2010 with pressing time limit. The traditional "train-like" management mode did not adapt to the situation, so Tianjin Branch of CNOOC Ltd. broke the traditional management mode, innovated management ideas and applied new mode, that is "diluting interface moderately, integrating exploration and development and optimizing management program". Consequently, many oilfields' ODP had been finished before 2007, which is a solid basis for the production in 2010.

    Tao Lin, Liu Xiao-gang
    2010, 29(5): 70-72.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.05.020
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1430KB) ( )
Ocean well site survey is to carry out measurement and survey of undersea rock formations, water depth, seabed topography, shallow gas and soil around the well location before spudding, which is important to ascertain the safety of drilling rigs positioning. Recently with the rapid development of Bohai Oilfield, the existing survey vessel resources are too tight to fully and timely meet the work requirements. In early 2008, the Drilling Department of Tianjin Branch proposed the assumption of well site regional survey. On the basis that the geological department provided a series of appraisal well location on the same block, the survey company designed plans to investigate a series of test wells, with an aim to understand the geological structure in complex areas, define area feature and geological characteristics distribution. Through tentative use in KL3-2 Block and successful spread in other blocks, we have not only saved half month of the survey vessel's operating time, but also saved four million investigation fee, which has created a good economic benefit for company.
