Highly demand for conserving energy and reducing pollution as a result of climate change, government officers of every country contact frequently to find out approaches to dealing with it. On the Copenhagen conference, our government solemnly promised that by 2020 our carbon dioxide emissions would drop by 40%~45% as compared with 2005. Petrochemical industry in China has completed structure adjustment after the 11th Five-Year Plan period, energy conservation and pollution reduction has achieved a lot. But to achieve the goal, we still have a lot of hard work to do. Based on analyzing the situation we face, this paper summarizes the experience in energy conservation and pollution reduction, and puts forward some suggestions for future work.

    2010, 29(4): 19-24.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.04.005
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1800KB) ( )
As Daqing Oilfield entered into extra-high water cut period, subdivision water injection technology has been executed in order to enhance the effect of water flooding development. The average water injection layers in single well are increased from four to seven. Because of the increasing of subdivision layer number in longitudinal layer, some problems on the technology need to be solved, such as installing packers over the thinner interlayer, configuring eccentric water injection allocator in the smaller stuck distance and so on. At the same time, because the number of separate layer water injection tool increases, it brings some problems such as difficult deblocking during replacing the string and poor well-flushing of string. Therefore, we need study the thickness standard of effective interlayer, develop separate layer water injection tool and test running, fishing tool adapting to thin interlayer and small stuck distance, study matched technologies which ensure effective deblocking and high-efficiency well-flushing to meet the technological requirements of subdivision water injection. Jiang Zhi, Zhang Liang, Dong Xue-ming, Guo Bin, Yang Hong
    2010, 29(4): 60-62.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2010.04.015
    Abstract ( )   PDF (1406KB) ( )
The original drilling fluid used in drilling operation for exploration and development in Block H in Chad was not adaptive to the geological traits. While drilling, cave-in and mud loss happened. That hurdled exploration and development. We want to gain a good drilling fluid for this aim through researching, experimenting and practicing. A good drilling fluid for Block H was gotten by analyzing cuttings samples and conducting a lot of experiments. Cave-in has never happened again since this kind of drilling fluid was used in drilling operation. And mud loss has not occurred since the excellent drilling fluid employed with its reasonable MW. It not only guarantees smooth drilling operation, but also avoids loss in pay zone and protects the reservoir. The adaptive drilling fluid system for Block H is achieved after practicing in a few wells.

Abstract:After the financial crisis, refining margins dive as recession kicks in. As the majors can't see the hope that the refining margins can recover in short time, they suffer from the 'downstream depression', and start downstream asset disposals. Crisis in the western world may bring new opportunities for the booming eastern countries.
