Measures against Brazil’s Pre-salt Deepwater Oilfield Development Risks

巴西盐下深水油田开发风险应对与启示

Abstract: A series of major discoveries have been made in Brazil’s pre-salt deepwater block since 2006, making it an important replacement area for reserve. The oil and gas production had been accumulated to 17×108 barrels as of June 2017. This area has a water depth of 2000 meters. It is complicated in the geological background and reservoir conditions so that the oilfield is difficult for economically efficient development. This paper summarizes the main development risks for Brazil’s pre-salt deepwater oilfield and briefs about the unique concepts and methods Petrobras has established to effectively identify and control the risks, such as acquisition of economically effective data and evaluation of oilfield, increase of adaptability and flexibility of the designed development plan, establishment of early production system, and development stage by stage. Those measures hold the key to successful development of the oilfield.

 

摘要: 自2006 年以来,巴西盐下深水区块连续取得重大勘探发现,成为重要的储量接替区,截至2017 年6 月, 累计产油气17×108bbl。该地区水深高达2000m,地质背景和油藏条件复杂,油田经济有效开发难度大。总结了巴西盐 下深水油田面临的主要开发风险,介绍了巴西国家石油公司在有效识别和把控风险方面形成的特色理念和做法,如经 济有效的资料录取与油田评价、增加开发方案设计的适应性和灵活性、建立早期生产系统、分阶段开发等,这些举措 是油田成功开发的关键。
