    How does Petrobras rise rapidly? Its increasingly higher technological innovation capability has played a vital role during the process. While introducing the development and enhancement of technological innovation capability of the company, this paper analyzes the experience of the company in organization and management of technological innovation (including strategic planning and organization system of technological innovation), technological investment, and staff management, etc. It achieves "technological leading" through "technology catching-up", providing reference for up-and-coming national oil companies.

    PDVSA has huge oil & gas resources, but weak technological innovation capability. It adopts the strategy of "technology catching-up", the most important of which is the heavy oil exploitation and processing technology. This paper discusses the development process of technology, the technology strategy, the technological innovation organization and management, the R&D investment, and the R&D staff management of the company.

    This paper demonstrates the management measures and achievements of CNPC Tubular Goods Research Institute in technological innovation during the "11th Five-Year Plan" period, and puts forward proposals on accelerating technological creation of tubular goods and seven key strategies to be implemented during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, i.e. the strategy of critical techniques, the strategy of integrated innovation, the strategy of cooperative innovation, the strategy of intellectual property, the strategy of standardization, the strategy of talents development, and the strategy of innovative culture, based on analyzing the development trends of tubular goods.

    As an important link in energy supply chain and an important force for energy commercial reserves in China, oil marketing companies undertake great political and social responsibility for supply of oil and gas resources to the society, national energy security, and economic security. With the advent of information age, information networks have witnessed an unprecedented development in recent years, whereupon online information systems grow up. And oil marketing companies in oil industry take the lead in implementing informationization. Currently information security has been the most critical thing in information stage, and also a major issue deserved high attention by oil marketing companies. By analyzing potential factors threatening oil marketing companies in information security, this paper discusses the measures and technical means of oil marketing companies in strengthening information security management.
    Application of Integrated and Intensive Technologies to Offshore Low Permeability Oil and Gas Field Development

    To breakthrough the expensive bottleneck in offshore low permeability oilfield development, a technical scheme integrating experienced technologies and intensive measures is studied, including borehole design, well pattern deployment, enlargement of drainage area, increase of per-well production, improvement of injection-production system, and energy refills. The application potential of some other special technologies is also discussed, such as slim-hole technology, mono-bore technology, and one-hole-many-using technology. For saving injection cost to refill reservoir energy efficiently, artesian water injection, enhanced and advanced water injection and gas injection are examined. By carrying out integrated and intensive measurements on typical offshore low permeability oilfields, the development cost is lowered, for example single operation spending for hydraulic fracturing is lowered to 4 to 6 million yuan from 25 million yuan.

    The horizontal well has gradually become the main well type of oilfield development. Laying the horizontal section at the best part of reservoir to maximize single-well production and benefits is the pursuit of all oil workers. PeriScope drilling boundary measuring instrument could provide 360° directional measurement, overcoming the influence of unfavorable factors such as structural uncertainty, reservoir heterogeneity, and unknown contact between oil and water in horizontal well assignments. The timely application of PeriScope instrument and technology to A and B oilfields in the Bohai Sea has achieved remarkable results.

    Airgun controller is a major component and mainstream device of airgun source control system. This paper introduces the device configuration, the performance and characteristics, the transmission performance, the simultaneous time, the functional integration, the wavelet interface number, and the working stability of the Bigshot airgun controller manufactured by RTS, compares it with other airgun controllers, makes detailed analysis on some practical problems that often occur, and gives corresponding solutions.

    Hydrofracturing technology is critical for effective development of low-permeability reservoirs. However, production wells after being hydrofractured may lead to inefficient hydrofracturing closure during the process of production, and stimulation results get more and more poor. To solve the problem, people carry out research on fracturing issues to change crack direction. This paper elaborates the technical principle of turnaround fracturing, sets up a mathematical model, and puts forward the principle of well selection for turnaround refracturing. Turnaround fracturing technology has been applied to 15 wells in Laojunmiao Oilfield and achieved better stimulation results. Turnaround fracturing is very significant to comprehensive management and increase of production in old oilfields.

    Knowledge management is the basis for knowledge sharing. This paper illustrates knowledge management with the concept and purpose of knowledge management, and the comparison between construction projects and research projects. It puts forward the core of knowledge management, i.e. creating a learning organization (enterprise) and achieving continuous development powered by knowledge innovation. Furthermore, it proposes that an organization (enterprise) bring knowledge creation, accumulation, application, appreciation, and protection into knowledge management.

    Deepwater horizon spill in Mexico Gulf in April 2010 shook the world. BP and U.S. Government set up a group to investigate the accident thoroughly and meticulously. The national investigation report about "Deepwater Horizon Spill in Mexico Gulf and the Future of Offshore Drilling" and other investigation data submitted to U.S. President by U.S. National Committee show that the direct cause of the disaster is a series of special but avoidable human and engineering errors, and government supervision at that time was "invalid". Some Chinese departments, universities, and mainstream media have reported the disaster. This paper analyzes the cause of blowout and spill, cementing design and problems in operation in the aspect of cementing, and on this basis gives some inspirations to complex deep well cementing.

    Research and development of "X80 DN1200mm Equal/Reducing Tee" is carried out in order to meet the demand for high-grade and large-diameter tee-joints from the Second West-East Pipeline Project and other key ones. Property parameters of the new product are described specially in this paper; its physical properties, forming process and performance testing are also studied therein. Through successful research and development of this product, Julong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. has been fully equipped with the competence in technique, process and equipment for mass production of X80 φ1219mm tees, and thus achieved a historical leap in pipe fittings manufacturing in China.

    Traditional metering device is made up of manifold and electric tee valves, which occupies large installation space and has such shortcomings as high cost, complicated system and inconvenient operation. ZXJ intelligent selector device is especially developed to substitute the traditional one, simplifying the process and reducing cost and electrical accidents. Moreover, the control of well selection integrates both manual and remote automatic methods. This product's hard core is multiport selector valve, which is designed and manufactured by the company itself. Now it has been applied well in some oilfields both at home and abroad.

    This paper expounds the application, working principle, structure, on-site test and application of CYW-1422 vertical hydraulic pipe cold bender. The bender adopts new modular design, applies digital control during bending process, and features in self-loading/unloading structure, rational whole structure, advanced and practical techniques, stable and reliable function, flexible and convenient operation, high efficiency in loading and unloading as well as transportation. It could be used in field operation under various complicated construction conditions. Its hydraulic system and main bearing structure could meet the design requirements under limit load conditions and have long service life, and satisfy cold bending operation of X80 steel tube with the a diameter ranging from φ1168mm to φ1422mm.

    Plastic alloy-glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) composite pipe of high and medium pressure is made from plastic alloy, FRP and metal. The composite pipe takes full advantage of the properties of steel strength and GFRP corrosion resistance. Heat resistance, sealing performance of pipe joint and other problems have been solved effectively during manufacturing process. The corrosion resistance, heat resistance and pressure resistance of the composite pipe meet the requirement of field application. It shows that GFRP composite pipe has excellent properties and could be used as a substitute for steel pipe.

    ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Copolymer) resin is typically the graft copolymer of polybutadiene rubber and styrene with acrylonitrile, in which A represents acrylonitrile, B on behalf of butadiene, and S on behalf of styrene. The product is produced by using the emulsion grafting and ontology SAN mixing process, which features in excellent rigidity, high impact strength, resistance to heat resistance and low temperature as well as chemicals, good mechanical strength and electrical performance, good accessibility to processing, glossy surface, and easy dyeing, etc. It could be painted, plated, welded, and bonded, etc. So, it has been widely used in electronic appliances, automobile parts, stationery, household items, industrial parts and other domains.

    Plastic Plant of PetroChina Daqing Petrochemical Company has developed and manufactured metallocene linear polyethylene resin 18X10D, with an aim to change China's total dependence on metallocene import, fill in the blank of no industrialized metallocene manufacturing, and promote China's plastics processing industry. This paper introduces the resin from such perspectives as process conditions and physical indexes, and finds that it has excellent processability and mechanical properties. It is proved that the 2m- and 9m- films made from metallocene resin feature in high quality, meet GB4455_2006 quality standard and consumers' requirements, and could be a substitute for imported ones.
