Abstract: Duel laterolog tool is always an important conventional resistivity tool. However, the deep and shallow resistivity curves measured by dual laterolog logging tool are unable to meet the demand for complicated oil and gas assessment thanks to further unfolding of exploration and development. To increase laterolog logging information amount and meet the demand for detailed evaluation, CNPC Logging Co Ltd made the study of theoretical methods and developed China’s first array laterolog logging tool. Based on design of array electrode structure and combined with hard and soft focus method, we created six radial depth-detecting measurement patterns. As compared to dual laterolog, this method has a number of advantages, such as high vertical resolution and abundant radial information, clearly describing the formation invasion characteristics. A large amount of field tests indicated that logging curve characteristics and various indexes of the tool were in line with the requirements of theoretical design. The tool can be used for logging evaluation of thin layers and other complicated reservoirs.

摘要: 双侧向测井仪一直是重要的常规电阻率测井仪器,随着勘探开发进一步深入,双侧向仪器测量的深、浅两条电阻率曲线已不能满足复杂油气评价需求。为提高侧向测井信息量,满足精细化评价需求,中国石油集团测井有限公司进行了大量理论方法研究,研制了国内首支阵列侧向测井仪。通过设计阵列化的电极系结构,利用软硬结合聚焦方法,实现6种径向探测深度测量模式。与双侧向测井方法相比,该方法具有纵向分辨率高、径向信息量多等优点,能够清晰描述地层侵入特征。通过大量现场试验,实测曲线特征和仪器各项指标均达到理论设计要求,仪器可用于薄层等复杂油气测井评价。
