Abstract: Oil and gas exploration possesses such basic characteristics as ideological nature, scientific nature, high risk, economical efficiency, regularity and sustainability. So explorationists must be professional with sense of responsibility, rationality, toughness, perceptivity, sharp observation, logical thinking, information identification capability, multidisciplinary proficiency, excellent communication ability and teamwork spirit. Only by respecting exploration laws can we accelerate exploration and improve benefit. Only by grasping the characteristics of exploration and meeting the needs for exploration can we grow as qualified personnel in oil and gas exploration quickly.

摘要： 油气勘探具有思想性、科学性、高风险性、经济性、规律性以及可持续性等基本特征;勘探家必须具备责任感、理性、韧性、悟性以及敏锐的观察能力、逻辑思维能力、信息鉴别能力、多学科综合运用能力、良好的表达能力和团队协作能力等工作能力。尊重勘探规律就能加快勘探步伐,提高勘探效益;把握勘探特征,适应勘探需要,就能快速成长为油气勘探领域的有用人才。
