Abstract: The new trend for international oil and gas industry at the present time is fluctuation of oil price at a low level, with the market supply outpacing the demand, while the main oil producing nations refused to reduce their production. The United States lifted the ban on oil and gas export and deregulated exploration of the sensitive areas. Greater efforts are made worldwide in support of the new energy industry. This situation is based on a series of reasons. The oil-producing countries maximized their tactic distribution of oil and gas assets for the purpose of occupying the market share, while pushing ahead with the strategic deployment of new energy industrial development. In response to the current difficulties in oil and gas industrial development and expectations of the accelerated new energy industrial development in the future, the Chinese enterprises should understand the new trend of international energy industry in time and focus themselves on the current and long-term business development. While striving to keep development of their main businesses stable, the enterprises should take an active part in the industries related to new energy and accelerate transformation and development into integrated energy companies to ensure their long-term and sustainable business development.
