This paper introduces the existing scale and strength of CNPC's engineering service enterprises as well as their technical achievements since the "11th Five-Year Plan" period. As the pillar industry of CNPC, petroleumengineering service industry, with more than 5,000 construction teams of complete professional categories and supporting job types, and 260,000 employees, owns great strength in land and beach construction in terms of geophysical exploration operation, drilling operation, well logging operation, downhole operation and other conventional technical fields. Since the "11th Five-Year Plan" period, CNPC's engineering service industry has strengthened support capabilities, upgraded technology, expandedmarket scale, and enhanced abilities in operation, with the newness coefficient of equipment reaching 0.51 and more perfect specialized systemand managementmechanism. All these lay solid basis for CNPC's scientific development during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period. This paper also puts forward strategy position, strategic goals, development strategies, and some measures to guarantee the smooth realization of strategic goals. The authors propose that CNPC engineering service industry implement the strategy of "durative innovation, integration, cost priority and internationalization", and take some guarantee measures, such as "adjust structure steadily, improvemechanism unceasingly, strengthen technological innovation, consolidate and expand themarket, foster talent group, and construct development environment, etc.", so as to build an competitive international energy service corporation and provide customers with the most comprehensive, applicable, and valuable oil& gas field engineering services.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (2207KB) ( )
The reservoirs in Jilin Oilfield mainly consist of low and ultra-low permeability and fractured sandstone ones, with structural and lithologic oil pool as the main part. With an exploration history of 50 years, from the early discovery and exploitation of simple structural oil pools to recent complex lithologic ones, a series of reservoir characterization support techniques with local features have been developed. The reservoir characterization techniques, which are typical and practical, could represent the general technical status of the developmental system of the Oilfield. This research, based on the development of reservoir characterization techniques and its application in the oilfields, takes an overview on the history and effect of this technique. And it is also a reflection of the general history of petroleum development techniques of Jilin Oilfield, as well as a guide for its future development.

    Han Xue-qiang
    2011, 30(1): 41-47.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2011.01.011
    Abstract ( )   PDF (2074KB) ( )
Russia is one of the countries with the most abundant in oil resources and one of the world's largest oil producers. Russia's oil industry development had a lot of ups and downs in the past 30 years. Oil production peaked in late 1980s but declined after 1990s with the breakdown of the Soviet Union and the coming of evening to exploitation as well as the reduction of investments. In the 21st century, Russia formulates new economic system, increasing investment in oilfield exploration and actively adopting measures to stimulate production. Oil production reached a new historic high in 2009. On the basis of analyzing the current state of Russia's oil industry, this paper expounds the important role of large oil companies in Russia's oil industry development.

    Abstract ( )   PDF (1590KB) ( )
Fine reservoir characterization with well-to-seismic integration is an important technology for development seismology. Since this technology became a hot research issue in 1990s, it has been applied widely abroad, and achieved great effect in oilfield application. This technology is characterized by multidisciplinary and integration, and is used to establish geological model by combining with 3D and 4D seismic data and make quantitative reservoir characterization in the hope of developing remaining oil and finally improving the ultimate recovery factor. The successful application of this technology in Oseberg Oilfield in North Sea and Casabe Oilfield in Columbian provides a great guidance for the latter development of mature oilfields in China.

    2011, 30(1): 62-63,66.  DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1002-302x.2011.01.017
    Abstract ( )   PDF (2186KB) ( )
Daqing Oilfield and other mainland oilfields have stepped into high water-cut stage. The former well logging technique based on the continuous oil phase is not suitable for high water-cut conditions. Impedance productive profile well logging tool measures water-cut in conductive theory with array ringshaped conductive sensors, and conductive sensors have good water-cut resolution in the continuous water phase. Therefore the impedance productive profile well logging tool is suitable for measuring water-cut in high water-cut conditions. By for now the technique has been used in 17220 wells. It has been used for logging of more than 86% wells in Daqing Oilfield, and become the main technique for productive profile well logging in high water-cut oilfields. Now it has been widely used in Daqing Oilfield and Jilin Oilfield.
