Abstract: As the main force of petroleum technological creation, petroleum universities are the important bases for basic research of oil resources. This article makes an in-depth analysis of the current conditions of basic research in petroleum universities as well as the basic conditions of the projects under National Fund for Natural Sciences carried out in oil universities at the present time. Between 2006 and 2012, China University of Petroleum (Beijing) is top on the list for acquisition of National Fund for Natural Sciences so far as petroleum universities are concerned. Next is China University of Petroleum (East China), which exceeded China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 2011 and 2012 in terms of the number of the funded projects, the hightest in the petroleum universities. The amount of funded projects varies greatly in the different disciplines. There is little change in the number of high-level funded projects that are concentrated in the fields of chemical science, geoscience, engineering and materials. The authors proposed that petroleum universities should take their scientific advantages to bring up talents and step up combination of basic research with application research.

摘要： 石油高校作为石油科技创新体系的主力军,是开展石油资源基础研究的重要基地。文章深入分析了石油高校的基础研究现状,以及目前石油高校承担国家自然科学基金项目的基本情况:2006—2012年获国家自然科学基金最多的石油高校是中国石油大学(北京),其次是中国石油大学(华东),中国石油大学(华东)2011年和2012年连续两年获资助项目数超过中国石油大学(北京),位居石油高校之首;不同学部获资助项目数差别较大;高级别项目获资助数量不多,且比较集中,主要集中在化学科学部、地球科学部和工程与材料科学部。在此基础上,针对加强石油高校基础研究,笔者提出了发挥石油主干学科优势、注重人才和团队建设、加强基础研究与应用研究的结合等对策和建议。
