Patent Navigation and Practice in Strategic Distribution of Geophysical Technology

物探技术战略布局的专利导航实践

Abstract: Patent navigation is an indispensable and important tool for an enterprise to improve its R&D capability and strategic distribution of technology. It is also of realistic significance to the enterprise for scientific allocation of innovation resources. However, the enterprise is usually short of the necessary understanding of the patent operation specifications and fails to take hold of the key points. Moreover, it doesn’t have the measures for effective management and application of the follow-up results, affecting the final results of patent navigation. Taking patent navigation of geophysical benchmark controllable seismic source high-effective acquisition technology for example, this paper explains the requirements on the processes of corporate patent navigation basis, launch of projects, execution of projects, production of results and application of results. It also analyzes the issues existing in the key links of patent navigation execution process, such as selection of areas, organization and division of labor, and catalogue strategy, and optimizes intellectual property protection after production of results. The system is established to make self-inspection and preliminary examination before submission of the patent, adopt a “five-level examination” and classification in the application process, and act as agent for patent management and evaluation after submission of the applications, ensuring the key technologies to come under all-around and high-quality protection. Those measures provide the references for the guidance work at next step and perfection of the relative patent management system.

摘要: 专利导航是企业提升研发能力及技术战略布局不可或缺的重要工具,对于企业创新资源的科学配置具有现实意义。而实践中企业往往缺乏对其操作规范的必要共识,把握不住关键点,并缺少对后续成果产出的管理和有效利用措施,影响专利导航最终效果。以地球物理勘探标志性的可控震源高效采集技术专利导航项目为例,逐一解析了企业专利导航基础、项目启动、项目实施、成果产出、成果运用等流程要求,对专利导航实施过程中的领域选取、组织分工、检索策略等关键环节存在的问题进行剖析,对成果产出后的知识产权保护进行优化,建立专利申报前的自检自查和预审、申报中的“五级审核”和分级分类、申报后的代理管控和专利评估制度,确保核心技术得到全方位、高质量的保护,为下一步导航工作的开展以及相应专利管理制度的完善提供参考。
