Abstract: Pipeline integrity data management is the latest management pattern adopted by international pipeline companies at the present time. As China’s pipeline construction enters into its peak period, it is of urgency to establish the pipeline integrity management system in accordance with China’s actual conditions, bringing about substantial safety of the pipelines. Based on China’s domestic pipeline conditions, Longhui Automation Engineering Co Ltd studied acquisition of pipeline integrity data and management specifications, established the central databank, unify storage and management of all data necessary for integrity management, significantly improved the efficiency of data acquisition and storage, and supplied the mechanism for data inspection and automatic examination and correction. With the accuracy of stored data ensured, the system brought about interaction and integration of visualized graphic and data display and provided support for secondary development. Put into wide application since 2008, this system has been used in a number of important projects of CNPC, with a total length of oil and gas pipelines for 50 thousand kilometers, and achieved good application results.
