Patent-based Analysis of Digital Twin Technological Development Trend for Smart Oil and Gas Reservoirs and Related Suggestions

摘要: 数字孪生是构建智慧油气藏的核心技术手段,在推动油气产业转型升级、降本增效中发挥着重要作用。基于智慧芽全球专利数据库,利用专利计量和专利文本分析方法,分析了智慧油气藏数字孪生技术的专利申请技术体系、申请数量变化、地域分布、主要研发机构、技术研发热点、技术研发模式等。分析结果显示,智慧油气藏数字孪生技术贯穿油气开发全过程,整体处于快速发展阶段。目前全球创新竞争表现为中美之争,中国是最主要的技术目标市场,并以企业为主,梯队特征明显。创新方向已从数据感知向数字孪生体建模转移,不同领域的重点专利技术布局较为集中,专利权人合作深度有限。结合我国智慧油气藏数字孪生技术发展存在的问题,提出了布局“卡脖子”技术重大项目、培育高价值专利、强化海外专利布局、打造集智攻关的创新生态、加强产业面深度融合等建议,以期为我国油气产业高质量发展、打造新质生产力提供有力支撑。

Abstract: Digital twin is one of the key technologies for construction of smart oil and gas reservoirs and plays an important role in accelerating oil and gas industrial transition and reducing the cost for higher performance. Based on the Global Patent Databank of Smart Bud (PatSnap) and using the patent measurement and patent text analysis methods, this paper analyzes the digital twin technology of smart oil and gas reservoirs in such areas as the patent-applying technological system, variations in application quantity, regional distributions, the main R&D institutions, technological R&D hot spots, and technological R&D models. The analysis shows that the digital twin technology of smart oil and gas reservoirs which goes through the whole oil and gas development process is at the rapid development stage as a whole. Global competition for innovation is currently reflected in that between China and the United States. China is the most important technological target market, predominantly characterized by enterprises, the scales of which are differentiated. The orientation of innovation has shifted to modeling of digital twin body from data sensing. Distribution of the key patented technology is concentrated in the different areas while the depth for patentees’ cooperation is limited. Focusing on the problems existing in China’s smart oil and gas reservoir digital twin technological development, this paper comes up with a series of suggestions, such as distribution of the important projects for “bottleneck” technology, fostering of high-value patents, enhancement of patent distributions overseas, creation of the innovative ecology for integrated intelligence research, and promotion of in-depth integration at the industrial level. Those suggestions aim at providing effective support for China's high-quality oil and gas industrial development and creation of new quality productive forces.
